As a young child I remember some wonderful archery weekends away with Tim and Pauline. Tim taught me how to use a bow and arrow and gave me my first every bow which was white and some thing that I was very proud to own. On these weekends I was also the 'chief looker after' of Toldie the dog. I hold these childhood weekend memories very close to my heart. Tim was a kind, loving, caring and selfless man who always put the needs of others before his own. He and his sister (my mum) were very close and from their childhoods looked out for each other. They'd see each other whenever possible. One of their favourite things to do especially in the later years was to go out with family and friends to a favourite Indian restaurant of Tim's, where possible I would tag along with them. Tim would say 'of course your invited but your paying!!' Then we would race to pay the bill which of course Tim being Tim would often win!!!! Nothing was never to much for Tim as long as you were happy he was happy. If i had to describe Tim in a sentence I'd say kind, caring, loving, selfless, with a funny and gorgeous sense of humour albeit sometimes a little on the edge!!! and a man who lived for others, whose goal in life was to see those he knew and loved be happy and healthy. I'm going to miss Uncle Tim so much but he will always have a special place in my heart. xxx
